Toodling around Denton for the day, we ended up finding this spot. Portions were exceptional. Flavor was exceptional. The service was average. But their AC was not cooling sufficiently which downgraded our experience a little. Parking was impeded by the construction on the street. Overall, I'd go back and we'd try the curry sampler! Our waitress told us it was enough for two. I had the green curry at a spice level 1 and it was just right. Everything was fresh and the rice was cute.

This quiet little gem has some really awesome food. Servers are there to help you get just the right food combinations you desire. Place is crowded, especially good for date night and there's always a seat. If you didn't get the right heat level, ask for more chilies:)
Run, don’t walk, for the winter lunch specials! Amazing deals. So much food and more importantly: FLAVOR. We had the yellow curry (w chicken) and street kra pao (with pork). Meals came with a spring roll with sweet/sour sauce + choice of salad (peanut dressing) or soup of the day (today’s was tofu). select spice level 1-5. Healthy enough portion sizes that we had leftovers!
You MUST eat here!! Your taste buds and tummy will be happy and so will the owner. Construction in the area can't stop people from coming in here to eat good food being made with love.. Don't care where you have to park. Just get here. Everything ordered was authentic, flavorful and delicious. Save me a seat. Definitely coming back.
Very cute murals cover the walls, the decor is quite lovely, along with the dim lighting. Don’t get me started on how comfy the seats are, especially on a corner. Service is amazing, very sweet server. Golden tofu appetizer was the best tofu I’ve had. Pad Thai (with tofu) was exceptional, the best pad Thai (and I mnow pad Thai) I’ve had. My boyfriend had the Street Chicken Ka Prao, he found it delightful and mentioned the portions were highly reasonable for the price. 100% will be returning, excited to try the pineapple fried rice next time
had a craving for drunken and glass noodles, this did not disappoint!! Also ordered a side of fried rice and it was genuinely the best fried rice I’ve ever had. I don’t rave or even tend to notice rice quality but it was SO yummy. I definitely Royal Yumed and will be back to Yum some more!
Where to begin? I’ve been going to Royal Yum for the past 3 Fridays after work, and the food is amazing every time. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu — everything is awesome. I’m a huge fan of their Royal Lo Mein and Pad Woon Sen. My husband loves the Crispy Kung Pao and Drunken Noodles. Today I tried the Panang Curry to-go, and honestly, after trying every Thai place in Denton, this is the best Panang Curry I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be coming back for more. If you’re in Denton, you must try Royal Yum — the best Thai food in town!
